FOX6 News Reporter/Anchor Karen Church was born in Denver, Colorado but grew up in Los Angeles, California. She says her years around the Hollywood culture influenced her to get into television.

Alan Collins

FOX6 News Reporter Alan Collins is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Not only was he born and raised there, he also attended and graduated from the University of Alabama.

Steve Crocker

Steve Crocker co-anchors the 6 and 9pm newscasts at FOX6. Steve grew up watching television news in Queens, New York and was introduced to broadcasting by his older brother Rob, who does jazz radio in the New York area.

J-P Dice

James-Paul "J-P" Dice joined FOX6 as chief meteorologist in August 2008.  He is no stranger to Alabama's always interesting weather.  James-Paul came to FOX6 from WHNT-TV in Huntsville where he worked 11 years.

Mike Dubberly is a sports anchor/reporter for FOX6 WBRC-TV. He's been part of the FOX6 Family since 1996.

Mickey Ferguson

Mickey Ferguson is the lead forecaster for Good Day Alabama and FOX6 News at Noon. He started his career in television on October 21, 1987, as a news producer at WJSU-TV in Anniston, Alabama.

FOX6 Meteorologist Fred Hunter was born in Alabama in the historic town of Ft. Payne. He has lived, attended school, raised his family and worked in the South all his life.

Rick Karle
