MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - A bill to fund the state's prepaid college tuition plan has a date in committee next week.
Senator Ted Little's PACT bill would take $236-million from the education trust fund over eight years and use it to shore up the pact plan.
The Alabama Education Association says Little's bill won't work unless universities are limited to a 2.5% tuition increase for program participants.
The bill gets a vote on Tuesday.
