2013 Kids & Jobs Program
"Let's Go to Work!"

Mayor's Office Division of Youth Services

Each spring, Birmingham youth are invited to apply for age-appropriate employment opportunities through the Kids & Jobs Program. This year, students between the ages of 14 and 21 years old will be working in public, private and nonprofit sectors of the business community. Youth who are hired through the program go to work during the summer months.

These are the dates applications will be available online for youth ages 14 - 15 years old & for the Summer Executive Internship Program. Applications can be downloaded below.

April 11, 2012

April 13, 2012
14 & 15 Year-Old Application & Interview Session
Fair Park Arena / Doors Open: 8:00am - Doors Close: 9:00am
Participating students will receive first-time exposure to the workplace. Youth who are allowed to enter the application and interview process on April 13th must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. To be considered for employment, students must submit a completed application packet during the interview session.

April 12, 2012
Summer Executive Internship Application Deadline
This is the deadline for 16-21 year-old students to submit Summer Executive Internship (SEI) applications to our office: 1608 7th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203
Mayor's Office Division of Youth Services.
