UAB blogger Gary Warner named Most Popular Security Blogger

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) – UAB's Director of Research in Computer Forensics can now add "Most Popular Security Blogger" to his title.
Gary Warner was given the honor on March 2nd from a vote of information-security peers and blog readers.
Warner's blog, CyberCrime& Doing Time, chronicles the latest in the computer security world and can claim to be the first to report on several major cyber attacks.
"This is a big honor for me, and it is wonderful to be recognized for something that I am passionate about producing," Warner says. "I see the blog as extension of the teaching I do inside my classroom at UAB, and I want my readers to understand the cyber threats that exist and the ways they can protect themselves.
