We was down June the 6th through the 17th and really enjoyed it a lot. The oil hadn't got on the shores until the last few days we was there. We was just devastated when we left and we saw the oil. It made me really want to cry. I felt like I had lost a part of my family. I love Gulf Shores and I feel so bad for the people that are there. And I feel like we need to do more to help them, to support them.
Trey from West Blocton
When it comes to the Gulf oil spill's effects on Alabama, it's of the utmost importance that we citizens are as informed as possible and speak our minds about the issues. We need to ask questions, make known our concerns and, in general, have our voices rightfully heard in the wake of this coastal catastrophe that has substantially impacted our state.
Gerry from Hueytown
I think it's great that y'all care about what's happening and I think it's great that y'all have so many broadcast areas around the state and that y'all are all gonna be broadcasting this event. I'm glad somebody cares about what's going on in our Gulf.....
