Considering the magnitude of some of the problems facing this country, this is an extremely inopportune time to focus on the minor issues.

It's imperative we emotionally reconnect with the truly meaningful events of our past. Doing so would result in our focusing on the things of major concern and declining the placement of value on things that, relatively speaking, have no significance whatsoever.

Analyzing the big picture would make clear the things that are inherently important and those that don't matter one bit.
