The Crimson White confirms 8 student deaths

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The University of Alabama's news site The Crimson White is reporting that eight students have been confirmed dead.

Some families have requested they keep their names private until friend and extended family are contacted.

The published names on the site are Melanie Nicole Mixon, Danielle Downs, Ashley Harrison and Loryn Brown of the University of Alabama and Will Stevens of Stillman College.
