On Monday, July 4 at 9 p.m., Thunder on the Mountain 2011, Birmingham's traditional fireworks demonstration, will once again illuminate the skies above Birmingham's beloved iron man, Vulcan.

Free to the public, this year's show will last approximately 20 minutes and will feature a variety of firework shells that will brighten the sky with new colors and patterns. Thunder on the Mountain 2011 is organized by Vulcan Park and Museum and brought to you in part by Dale's Seasoning, Standard Furniture, ALFA, America's First Federal Credit Union, COX Media, Pyro Productions, Inc., City of Birmingham, and FOX6 WBRC-TV.
