TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Taylor Swift is giving fans of country music and Alabama football another reason to say "Roll Tide" in the face of tornado relief. Her philanthropic organization Speak Now…Help Now donated $250,000 to Nick's Kids, the fund established by Nick and Terry Saban.

Since the April 27 tornadoes, Nick's Kids has given away $112 to Habitat for Humanity, $77,000 to Project Team Up and $55,000 to Tuscaloosa Tornado Relief. Swift's $250,000 donated will be used specifically for Tuscaloosa-area relief work.

RollTide.com quoted Nick Saban's remarks of thanks for Swift's donation:

"Taylor Swift's overwhelmingly generous gift will go a long way in helping our rebuilding efforts. Since all of our Nick's Kids staff and workers are volunteers, every dollar will go towards the relief efforts…Taylor deserves a big Roll Tide from our community and we sincerely thank her for joining the team at Nick's Kids," Saban said.
