Clare Huddleston joined the Fox 6 team in October 2011.  Clare is originally from Vestavia Hills, but has lived in Tuscaloosa for the past 10 years.

Clare graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005 with degrees in Broadcast News and Spanish.  While Clare attended classes at the Capstone, she began an internship with WVUA.  After graduation, WVUA offered her a full time position as the weekend anchor.  Clare eventually worked her way up to become the 10 p.m. anchor.

Clare has won several awards from the Associated Press including Best News Anchor, Best Spot News Story, Best Sports Feature, and Best Sports Story.

In her free time, Clare enjoys running. She has completed one marathon and two half-marathons. Clare is a member of Leadership Tuscaloosa, Junior League of Tuscaloosa, and Young Professionals of Tuscaloosa.  Clare also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out, and traveling. In 2004, Clare spent the summer studying abroad in Spain.
