UAB Head Coach Neil Callaway tells FOX 6 Sports Anchor Rick Karle he has resigned.
"I want to thank UAB for giving me the opportunity to coach this team," Callaway said. "I want to thank the support people, the coaches, the players, the trainers, and the entire support staff. I wish we could have won more games under the circumstances...We certainly wish the UAB family well."
Callaway just finished at 3 and 9 season in this, his 5th year at UAB.
