
You need: Christmas Stollen Dough
Cream cheese filling
Green, gold and purple sugars
(small plastic babies from party store)
After initial bulk fermentation, divide dough into 1 pound balls. Roll each ball into a thick rope and roll out to a rectangle approx. 4-inches wide and 12-inches long. Pipe a generous line of cream cheese filling down the middle of the dough and roll dough around filling. Form dough into a circle and place on a parchment lines half sheet pan. Using a sharp knife, make 8 cuts half way through the circle from the outside at even intervals so the dough resembles a flower. Cover the dough and let rise until doubled in volume. Bake at 325F for 5-55 minutes or until done. Cool on rack. Place a plastic baby in the cake from the bottom. Glaze top of cake and sprinkle with colored sugars.
