Gardendale Sen. Scott Beason will officially announce his intentions to run or not against incumbent Ala. Congressman Spencer Bachus tomorrow.
Beason will be at Alabama Republican Headquarters Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Friday is the end of qualifying for GOP primary in March 13.
The Gardendale republican sponsored Alabama's controversial immigration law. Beason was also a government witness in the bingo trial. In the case's court papers, U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson called Beason racist and politically motivated. Beason wore a wire and on tape called people going to Greene Track aborigines, a comment he later apologized for using.
