Rolando McClain being sued by man he allegedly assaulted

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

The man who claims Rolando McClain attacked him in Decatur is suing the Oakland Raiders linebacker.

McClain will go to trial in May for charges of assault, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm. McLain also faces a civil lawsuit.

Christian Tapscott wants punitive and compensatory damages from McClain and Ja-Darious Willingham.

He claims McClain pointed a loaded weapon at his head and laughed as Tapscott begged him not to pull the trigger.

Tapscott also said McClain then fired the gun right next to his ear.
