E. Texas woman dead, 2 injured after car hits tree
Photo Source: Polk County TodayLIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) - A Livingston woman died Thursday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Polk County which also left two people injured.
Malissa Ferraro, 42, died at 6:45 p.m. at the scene of the wreck on FM 350.
According to the DPS report, Ferraro was driving a 1981 BMW southbound on FM 350, 5.3 miles south of U.S. 59, at 5:39 p.m. when she left the road and struck a tree.
Two passengers in the wreck were hospitalized. John Christopher Lipsie, 20, of Colorado, is listed in critical condition with a head injury at a Lufkin hospital. Macy Seymour, 16, of Livingston, is listed in stable condition at a Houston hospital.
All three were not wearing seatbelts.
