ADAMSVILLE, AL (WBRC) -
A police chase in Adamsville ended with a wreck after the driver of a car attempted to run a patrol car off the road.
The chase along Highway 78 began when state troopers reported a possible carjacking. Adamsville police chased the suspect's vehicle until the driver attempted to run an officer's car off the road, damaging the patrol car.
The driver wrecked and was arrested on DUI and attempted murder charges for trying to run the officer's car off the road. The car chase apparently began as a domestic incident stemming out of Birmingham.
