
Nabeel's® Pasta and Fagioli Soup
An Italian staple. Delicious and wholesome.
Eat with a glass of wine and crusty Italian bread.
Ingredients:
3 cups tomato puree
1 Gallon chicken broth
4 oz. oregano
4 oz. dry basil
1 lb. ditalini pasta
1 stalk celery chopped
1 lb. carrots chopped
1 onion chopped
1 lb. Northern beans
Preparation:
In a large pot put in chicken broth, tomato puree, oregano,
basil, salt and pepper and bring to boil.
After boiling for 30 minutes add celery, onion, carrots.
After 20 minutes add the beans, add the pasta and continue stir.
Cook for another 20 minutes. Serve hot and sprinkle some Grated Romano cheese
for an extra taste. That's the Italian way.
Serves: 4-6
