BIRMINGHAM,AL (WBRC) - The victim of a shooting death in Forestdale has been identified. Edmund Reed 34 years old of Birmingham was shot and killed on the parking lot of a convenience store in the 1000 Block of Forestdale Blvd shortly after 2:00 p.m. today. The reason for the shooting is not known at this time.
Detectives are looking for Derrick Wayne Murray 41 years old of Dora in relation to this case. Murray was last seen in a silver Dodge Magnum. If anyone has any information on this case they are asked to call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
