FORESTDALE, AL (WBRC) -

Tragic new details about the victim of a murder at a Forestdale Jet Pep station emerged this afternoon at a vigil for 34-year old Edmund Reed. Reed's brother Greg says Reed's other brother James was shot and killed in 1991. Of four original siblings, now only Greg and a sister remain. Edmund Reed was also expecting the birth of a new daughter any day now.

Edmund Reed was shot and killed inside his car at the Jet Pep on Highway 78 in Forestdale just before 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's department says 41-year-old Derrick Wayne Murray is their primary and only suspect.

Today Reed's wife, brother, and cousin all urged Murray to turn himself in.

The sheriff's department told FOX6 News they are working "around the clock" to make an arrest in this case.
