Officials hope new routes will improve MAX bus service

Several new MAX bus routes will take effect March 26 of this year. BJCTA officials will eliminate inefficient routes souch as the Southside Dart route and reorganized some routes to make them more efficient.

The proposed routes were presented at a BJCTA meeting this afternoon for approval.

"We're looking at about ten routes out of about thirty so it's a significant change, but more will be coming up as the year goes on," Peter Behrman, BJCTA Executive Director, said.
