Accused killer Tracey Grissom bonded out of Tuscaloosa County Jail Tuesday. That's a few hours after she allegedly gunned down her ex-husband Hunter Grissom.

She wasn't at home today. Court documents list her home in the 2000 block of Oak Village Road in Akron. That's a small town in Hale County.

We traveled there today. Neighbors recall seeing her, two children and another man in a home there for the past three months, fixing up the place. Folks there like Billy Campbell and Hayward Martin recognized her from arrest photos. But they say they can't judge her without knowing her personally.

"Who knows, I mean people snap," Martin tells Fox6 News. "I mean, you get in a situation, ain't no telling what might happen. So if you got somebody that's been putting pressure on you and doing certain things to you. I can't say cause I wasn't in that predicament. But I don't know what I'd do if I run into someone I was afraid of," Martin went on to say.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Ted Sexton says Grissom admits to emptying a clip into her ex after he allegedly flashed a mean look and flipped her off Tuesday morning at Binion Creek Boat Landing. She later called 9-1-1, told the operator she'd shot Hunter Grissom and waited on authorities to arrive.

Court document released today say two people witnessed her shoot Hunter Grissom four or five times. In 2010, he was arrested on charges of rape, sodomy and unlawful imprisonment against Tracey Grissom.

Billy Campbell lives four houses down from Grissom and says, "He beats and rapes her like the paper says, that's different. But I wouldn't kill nobody."
