Man charged with production of child pornography in Etowah Count

The Etowah County Sheriff's Office says they have charged a man with production of child pornography after he had already been charged with possessing child pornography.

29-year-old Jonathan Wesley Green now faces one count of producing pornographic material with a minor and twelve counts of possession of obscene material. Two of his charges of possession came last week after deputies noticed pornography-related material in his residence while serving him a warrant from Florida. Green was on probation in Florida for burglary and theft.

Green is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $320,000 cash bond.
