Man arrested on indecent exposure charges in Gadsden

The Gadsden Police Department says they arrested a man on indecent exposure charges on Saturday.

Officers received several complaints of a male subject masturbating in the open at the bird sanctuary. Victims told the officers the man pulled down his pants and exposed his genitals to women and children. One victim stated that the suspect asked her if she would watch him masturbate.

The suspect ran into the woods when officers spotted him and he skirted the backwater along 4th Street until he was flushed out near Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant on Rainbow Drive. He was lost by officers momentarily, but was found hiding in the restroom at Chik-Fil-A.

33-year-old Michael Christopher Camp has been charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and fleeing & eluding.
