Birmingham officer's court appearance delayed

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

One of the Birmingham police officers charged with arson in connection to those fires in Ensley has had his court appearance delayed.

Jason Arnold was supposed to have a preliminary hearing today in Judge Shelly Watkins courtroom.

We have now been told that hearing has been postponed until August 9th.
