The accident happened right before exit 234 near the Shelby County Airport.

An accident led to two cars flipping over on Interstate 65 Northbound on Wednesday morning. It happened right before exit 234 near the Shelby County Airport.
Troopers say one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital via helicopter ambulance.
Calera police say Alabama state troopers will be working the accident.
Currently, traffic is open in the area but very slow moving.
