Three vehicles damaged in accident in Homewood

On Valley Avenue in Homewood, officers say a car drove underneath a parked truck and the force of the crash pushed the truck into the car parked beside it.

Homewood's police sergeant says the driver was reaching for his cell phone and ran off the road.

Mountain Brook police have an arrest warrant for the driver so Homewood police took him into custody. His arrest is not related to this wreck.
