Pilot breaks leg during crash, crawls for hour to seek help

A Lawrence County pilot survived a plane crash Monday evening and then had to crawl for help.

Mark Kilburn of Westpoint, TN, was flying an ultralight plane when he had engine trouble and had to put it down in a field.

Kilburn broke his leg and crawled for about an hour before a neighbor heard his cries for help, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.

Medical personnel then took Kilburn to the hospital for treatment.
