The goal of NNO is to strengthen the bond between communities and law enforcement, create additional crime and drug prevention awareness and perhaps most importantly, strengthen neighborhood spirit.

What: Free giveaways and food, music and inflatables for the kids.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
Where: McAdory High School (football field) and the Center Point Satellite Courthouse (parking lot).
When: 6-8 p.m. (McAdory) and 7-9 p.m. (courthouse)
What: Food, music and fun. Deputies will also be present to teach the community about law enforcement operations.
Where: City Hall Auditorium, St. Paul CME Church, Hard Park, Morgan Methodist Church, World Overcomers Faith Church, Flint Hill Point Apartments, McNeal Park, Pipe Shop and First Baptist Church in Jonesboro and Roosevelt Park.
When: 6-9 p.m.
What: Family fun, food and prizes.
Eastlake Park
When: 6-9 p.m.
Railroad Park (17th Street Plaza Section B)
When: 4-6 p.m.
What: Food, fun and a chance to meet neighbors and local officers.
Avondale Brewing Company
When: 6-9 p.m.
What: Soft drinks will be provided and beer will be available for purchase. Bring a snack and join your neighbors and local law enforcement in the courtyard.
Where: Target, Colonial Promenade Center
When: 5-8 p.m.
What: Car seat safety inspections, a kids' zone, food and a chance to meet local and federal law enforcement officials.
Montevallo
Where: Montevallo First Baptist Church
When: 5-7 p.m.
What: Free hot dog dinner, a chance to meet local police, fire and emergency crews and free national child identification kits.
Where: Target, Grove Shopping Center off Highway 150
When: 6-8 p.m.
What: Free food, police motorcycle demonstrations and displays by local businesses.
Sylacauga
Where: Noble Park
When: 5-7 p.m.
What: Free food, games, dance competition and live music.
Midfield
Where: On your street
When: 7-8 p.m.
What: The City of Midfield is inviting citizens to get out on their blocks to meet and chat with neighbors. Officers will be driving by on their patrols, giving citizens a chance to meet with them as well.
