Two injured in shooting in Collegeville

Birmingham police are investigating a shooting that injured two people.

Officers from the West Precinct say that the victim was brought to the hospital Monday evening for treatment. A second victim was also brought to Princeton BMC but was then transferred to UAB because of the life-threatening nature of her injuries.

Police believe the original crime scene is at 32nd Street in Collegeville and units continue to investigate there.
