Fairfield police searching for homicide suspect

Fairfield police need your help tracking down a murder suspect.

Dequien Knight, 18, is accused of trying to rob Jimmy Hudson Jr. and then shooting him several times. Hudson's body was found in the parking lot of Legacy Mall in Fairfield on Thursday. He was 52 years old.

Investigators believe Knight may be in the West End area of Birmingham or somewhere near Legion Field hiding out with someone he knows. Knight is considered armed and dangerous, so do not approach him.
