Gadsden officials searched the trails, gorge and Black Creek near Noccalula Falls for the missing special needs teenager.GADSDEN, AL (WBRC) -
The special needs teenager reported missing near Noccalula Falls has been found and is safe, Gadsden officials say.
Police say the teen, a 17-year-old white male named Kyle, broke away from his grandparents. Police believed he could have headed for the gorge.
Officers and fire and rescue workers began searching the gorge, trails around Noccalula Falls and Black Creek around 2 p.m. today, Captain Regina May with Gadsden PD said.
The teen was located around 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
