TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

A suspect featured on "America's Most Wanted" last week was captured Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa. The Tuscaloosa Police Department assisted U.S. Marshals in arresting Willie Henry Lorick, who is wanted out of Palm Peach County in Florida on 32 counts.

Authorities say Lorick's charges include robbery, kidnapping, grand theft while armed, offenses against police and felon in possession of a firearm.

Lorick appeared on the TV show America's Most Wanted on Aug. 10 because of those charges.

Lorick allegedly stole a car from Palm Beach, Fla. which was later recovered by Tuscaloosa PD on July 21. That SUV was found abandoned in a Tuscaloosa-area post office and when police ran the plates, they realized it was the vehicle Lorick had allegedly stolen.

That's when officials knew Lorick must have been somewhere in the Tuscaloosa area.

"They concentrated on the investigation and figured out he had a family member who lived here. They watched that residence, and when they knew he was home, we had officers with the U.S. Marshals Task Force as well as our TPD officers move in on the property. He was actually found inside a vehicle with three other occupants," Tuscaloosa Police Sgt. Brent Blankley said.

U.S. Marshals and Tuscaloosa police officers arrested Lorick Wednseday, Aug. 15 just after 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of East 1st Street.

He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail and will be taken back to Palm Beach County in Florida, Sgt. Blankley said.
