Students who have been waiting to move into an apartment complex near the University of Alabama finally got to move in today.
Residents were supposed to move in to the East Edge apartments Wednesday, but Tuscaloosa building inspectors said the buildings didn't pass safety code inspections. The inspectors' concerns included missing railings on balconies and stairwells.
As of this morning, people were allowed to live in three of five buildings there.
