University of Alabama Athletic Director Mal Moore has been admitted to Tuscaloosa's DCH Regional Hospital. As of 12 p.m. Wednesday, Moore was still in the hospital.
He is in stable condition in the Acute Cardiac Care Unit.
University officials say Moore was admitted Tuesday evening because of an irregular heartbeat.
A university statement included this quote from Moore's personal physician, Dr. James Robinson:
"He is undergoing a series of tests
today and all the results are coming back normal. I anticipate that he will be
discharged soon."
