Rock Creek gets ready for football season

With football season right around the corner communities, big and small, are gearing up. For example, at Union Hill Baptist Church in Rock Creek students and parents from three different communities came together for a jump start to the season.

Not only did they gear up for the season, but they also had a chance to meet four former Alabama football players.  Tyrone Prothro and Antonio Langham both said they enjoy coming to events like this one in Rock Creek.  "I think it's a good thing the church does for the kids," said Langham.

"Me being played back in 2005 and just people who can still remember me and still remember what I did. It always makes you feel good," said Prothro.

Also on hand was Miss Alabama, Anna Laura Bryan. 

One local resident told us it was an opportunity she wouldn't miss.
