
A fire in Birmingham has left a couple families homeless on Thursday morning. The fire happened around 4:30 a.m. at a duplex on 68th Street North.
Investigators say the fire started in the top of the building. There was extensive damage to that part of the duplex.
All of the families made it out safely.
Investigators have not said what caused the fire.
