(UPSIDE DOWN APPLE TART)
INGREDIENTS:
1 STICK UNSALTED BUTTER
1 EGG LIGHTLY BEATEN
2 TABLESPOONS COLD WATER
1 PINCH SALT
3 CUPS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
CARAMAL APPLE:
1/2 STUCK UNSALTED BUTTER
3/4 CUP SUGAR
10 APPLES
2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR FOR SPRINKLING
DIRECTIONS:
CARAMELIZE THE BUTTER AND SUGAR IN THE PAN. PLACE THE APPLES VERTICALLY ON THE TOP OF THE CARAMLIZED MIXTURE. SPRINKLE THE SUGAR OVER THE APPLES. COOK IN A HEATED OVER FOR 15 MINUTES AT 350 DEGREES. ROLL THE PASTRY OUT OVER THE APPLES AND BAKE FOR ANOTHER 20-25 MINUTES. LET IT COOL FOR ONE HOUR. TURN OT OVER AND SERVE IT WARM. BON APPETIT!
