TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

If you're concerned about drugs in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding community, a group in Tuscaloosa wants to hear from you.

The group Drugfree Tuscaloosa is asking for volunteers to complete a survey about substance abuse in Tuscaloosa and other issues.

The group wants to know what causes the most problems in your community, who do you think abuses drugs and are the laws to fight drug use and alcohol abuse working?

Drugfree Tuscaloosa wants to come up with strategies to fight the problem and help those with addiction issues.

They set up a website for people to answer these questions anonymously on Aug. 1. Participants in the survey should be 18 years old or older.

So far, participation has been low, with only 100 or so people completing the survey. They need many more people to share their thoughts on how what should be done.
