BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police and the FBI are joining forces to search for the city's latest bank robber. The Wells Fargo bank on 19th and 4th Avenue South in the UAB area was robbed around 9:40 a.m. today.

Police say the suspect is a male around 50 years old. He allegedly pointed a handgun at a teller, got the money and left on foot.

Investigators think he had a car in the area. Authorities are still trying to track him down.
