TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Seven Alabama players were recognized by the coaching staff for their outstanding performances following Saturday's 40-7 victory over Florida Atlantic. Eddie Lacy and D.J. Fluker were named players of the week on offense while Robert Lester and C.J. Mosley represented the defense. On special teams, Cade Foster, Dee Hart and Vinnie Sunseri were selected.

Lacy recorded his third career 100-yard rushing game against FAU. He carried 15 times for 106 yards (all in the first half) with an average of 7.1 yards per carry. Fluker led the offensive line with a grade of 92 percent, did not allow a sack or a pressure, and didn't get called for any penalties. He had three pancake blocks and the offense finished the day with 503 total yards, including 256 yards on the ground. After scoring in each quarter against the Owls Saturday, the Crimson Tide has now scored in 31 consecutive quarters.

Mosley led the team with six total tackles and also combined with Jeoffrey Pagan on a sack. Lester had two tackles on the day, and one of those was a sack. Mosley and Lester weren't on the field with the first defense on FAU's only scoring drive, which came with 2:49 remaining in the fourth quarter. The defense gave up just 110 total yards, 75 of which came on that final drive.

On special teams, Foster continued his strong season on kickoffs as well as long field goal attempts. He was 2-for-2 on field goals, hitting from 46 and a career-long from 52. He added six touchbacks on nine kickoffs. Hart played on the punt return team and kickoff team. He totaled 28 yards on two punt returns. Sunseri contributed on the kickoff, punt and punt return teams, and also served as the holder on Alabama's last extra point attempt. He had two tackles on kickoff coverage, including one inside the 20.
