A Birmingham man was rushed to the hospital after he was allegedly shot in the groin by his girlfriend.
Birmingham Police say the shooting happened late Monday afternoon in the 300 block of 22nd Street Southwest. According to police, the couple has been together for seven years, but apparently got into an argument on Friday. The argument reportedly culminated in Monday's shooting.
The 33-year-old man suffered non life-threatening injuries. His 29-year-old girlfriend was arrested. Check back to MyFoxal.com for additional information on this story when it becomes available.
