The apartment are located in the 4200 block of 3rd Ave. S. and 43rd Street. Battalion Chief John Whitmer says that one man has been taken to the hospital for burns. Firefighters were also able to save a dog from one of those units.
Crews remain on the scene to check for hot spots and to investigate the cause of the fire.
