BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The Construction Education Foundation will train people 18 and older looking for a job in construction.

Participants will be trained in a variety of construction jobs, including electrical, plumbing and welding.

The president of the Construction Education Foundation says this is the perfect chance to succeed in the construction industry.

To apply for the training, applicants must visit the foundation's office at 6700 Oporto Madrid Blvd. Applications can be filled out at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The application is due Oct. 15.
