BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

A wreck involving several cars is backing up traffic on Highway 280 inbound at the Elton B. Stephens Parkway at Red Mountain.

Crews will have to close part of the area to clear the scene. There's no word yet on the extent of injuries, but at least one person has been taken to the hospital.
