Race weekend kicks off in Talladega

The stars of NASCAR are in Alabama this weekend. The racers' teams and cars arrived at the Talladega Superspeedway earlier this week..

Truck racers will kick off the weekend Saturday. Then Sunday it's the big race: the "Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500."

Fans who attend this weekend will notice some upgrades in the stands.

"We started four years ago and did the lower stands and made them 21 inches, then this year we did part of the tower seats, and by next May all the tower seats will be 22 inches which makes them the most comfortable and biggest seats in NASCAR," Grant Lynch, chairman of the Talladega Superspeedway, said.
