Chase Lake Café Smoked Sausage w/Cabbage,Sweet Potatoes,and Apples

 

1 pound smoked sausage,sliced into angular coins

1 Sweet tango apple,sliced

1 sweet potato,sliced

1 red onion,sliced

1 cup shredded cabbage

2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 bottle dark or amber beer[Today we are using Dos XX amber]

 

Brown sausage and set aside.Combine beer,mustard,and brown sugar in skillet,and bring to a boil.Add apples,potato,and cabbage.Cover and simmer for a couple of minutes.Add sausage and just bring that back up to medium high heat for a minute.Serve with nice rolls for a perfect fall meal.You can also enjoy it with your beer of choice!!!Dos XX is great with this dish.
