Authorities find spice at Birmingham convenience store

A convenience store in Birmingham is now part of a crime scene.

Police say they executed a search warrant at a Marathon Gas Station located on 1st Avenue North on Thursday. Officers arrested the store manager and cashier after finding 175 packs of spice and a gun.

The cashier is being charged with distribution of a controlled substance. The manager was charged with possession of marijuana.
