Man killed in early morning motorcycle accident

The Alabama Department of Public Safety says a man was killed early Monday morning after being involved in a motorcycle accident.

Troopers say 41-year-old Kevin Terrill Martin was killed when the 2003 Suzuki GSX1300 he was riding left the wet roadway and traveled into a ditch. The accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on Old Marion Road, south of Tuscaloosa.

The investigation is ongoing.
