Auburn coach Gene Chizik's mother passes away

The mother of Auburn head coach Gene Chizik has passed away.

Kirk Sampson with Auburn University Athletics has confirmed that Rita Chizik passed away early Monday morning. No other details were given about her passing.

The release on Mrs. Chizik's passing states:
