
Source: University of Alabama"Timeless Traditions" is the theme for The University of Alabama's Homecoming 2012. Events are planned all week long, leading up to the game between UA and Mississippi State Saturday night.
Monday: Students will Paint the Town Red by painting their UA school spirit across Tuscaloosa.
Tuesday: Homecoming Queen Elections will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Students can vote online at http://www.mybama.ua.edu.
Basketball tournament will start at 7 p.m.
Can formation and juding will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Presidential Village.
Wednesday: Dodgeball competition starts at 7 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center.
Thursday: Choreography Contest will be at 7 p.m. in Foster Auditorium.
The Comedy Show will be from 9 to 11 p.m. in the Ferguson Theater.
Friday: Homecoming Pep Rally and Bonfire at 7 p.m. on the Quad.
The NPHC Step Show will be from 8 to 10:30 p.m. in Foster Auditorium.
Saturday: The Homecoming Parad will start at 2 p.m. The parade route starts in downtown Tuscaloosa and concludes on campus. Three coaches serving as grand marshals are being honored for their teams' national championshp titles: Coach Patrick Murphy, head coach of the Alabama Softball Team, Coach Mic Potter, head coach of the Alabama Women's Golf Team, and Coach Sarah Patterson, head coach of the Alabama Gymnastics Team.
